Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Microneedling uses your own blood for platelet collection which contains growth factors that help to boost tissue regeneration.

Care
1) Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours prior
2) Avoid Aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories
3) Never stop taking prescription medication without consulting your healthcare provider
4) Avoid greasy meals the day before your appointment
5) Drink plenty of water 24 hours prior to appointment.
1)Each appointment starts with a consultation to
review your health history and goals for treatment
2)We will explain the procedure and treatment plan best suited for you.
3)Consent will be obtained by our Nurse
Practitioner
4)A topical anesthetic will be used for 15 minutes
then your skin will be thoroughly cleansed.
5)The microneedling pen will used as a mechanical peel to stimulate the collagen growth and regeneration of the skin
6)If required, certain areas of the face will receive
further treatment depending on desired outcome.
1) For 24-72 hours you may continue to have redness, dryness peeling and sensitivity on the skin
2) Avoid direct sun exposure for 72 hours post treatment
3) Avoid applying any products to your skin for the first 24 hours, except those suggested by your nurse..
4) Avoid tanning, waxing, chemical peels, or other
cosmetic treatments for 72 hours after.
5) Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen.
